The Xbox 360 Chatpad is a small keyboard that connects to the backside of your Xbox 360. Available is a wireless or wired Xbox controller that allows you to text message, instant message, and other text options, in game. The Chat pad is created for fast typing. To be able to use this Xbox 360 Chat pad you must have a membership with Xbox Live. When you purchase this item it also comes with a messenger kit, and a headset. It also comes with an audio jack that you can use with any headset that uses a standard 2.5 connector, and Backlit buttons that will help you to write words correctly even while in an area that is not lit up well, or slightly dark.
The Chatpad connects to the front of the controller and may be used for any standard text input on the console. It is not currently compatible with the wireless gaming receiver.
